RENAULT DUSTER
The French car manufacturer Renault has unveiled the next generation duster. The Renault Duster is one of the most famous and best selling SUV’s in the brand’s lineup.
Features
The new upcoming 2024 duster will be built on Renaults new CMP architecture, and will be based on Dacia Big Star concept.
It will come with a new exterior and interior, big touchscreen, updated cluster, voice recognition, automatic climate control, 4X4 knob, multiple airbags, new setup 17 inch crystal cut alloy wheels.
Engine
In terms of power, the new duster gets multiple engine options, including hybrid and LPG.
An entry level one litre three cylinder petrol engine can run out LPG or gasoline that can produce 110 horsepower
A 1.2l mill hybrid turbo petrol engine with 48 volt mild hybrid system, which can churn out 130 horsepower and 1.6l fully hybrid petrol engine connected with two electric motors that can generate 140 horsepower of combining output.
Pricing & Gearbox
➤ The engines will be mated to an optional six speed manual and a six speed dual clutch automatic gearbox.
➤ The 1.6l and 1.2l engines are available with optional 4X4 for drivetrains, whereas the 1 litre engine is only available with forward wheel drive powertrain.
➤ Renault has a plan to bring this new duster in the Indian market in the end of 2024 at the expected price range between 9.50 to 14.50 lakhs.
Force Gurkha 5 Door
The famous car manufacturer Force is bringing the new generation five door versions of their operating SUV Gurkha, in the Indian market.
The new model looks similar to its three door sibling, except a few changes. This C1 segment SUV is based on Gurkha C platform.

Engine
In terms of power, the new model will retain the same 2596cc 4 cylinder, 2.6l diesel engine that can generate 91 bhp of power at 3200 rpm and 250 NM of peak torque at 1400 to 2400 rpm.
The engine will be paired to a five speed manual transmission along with the off roading gear.
Price
The five door model will also offer an optional 4X4 or forex to dip in as well. Force has a plan to bring this five door versions of Gurkha in the Indian market in June 2024, at the expected price range between 15 to 18 lakhs, ex-showroom.
Mahindra Thar
The Indian car manufacturer Mahindra is now all set to introduce the most awaited versions of the second generation Thar.
Thar five door is B2 segment SUV from Mahindra. The new Mahindra Thar five door variant will be based on Mahindra’s ladder and frame architecture, as the Scorpio N.

Engine
Talking about the power, the new five door versions of Thar will be available with the existing engine options.
➤ BS6 compliant 1997cc 2.0 litre four cylinder mStallion turbo petrol engine, which can produce 150 bhp of power and 320 NM of peak torque,
➤ A BS6 campained retune 2198cc 2.2l m-Hawk turbo diesel engine, which can churn out 130 bhp of power and 300 NM Of peak torque.
➤ The engines will be paired to an optional six speed manual or a six speed torque converter automatic gearbox.
Price
An optional 4X4 system with a manual shift transfer case will come as standard. The new five door Thar will come to the Indian market in the month of March 2024, at the expected price range between 14 to 18 lakhs.
Toyota Fortuner Hybrid
The famous Japanese car manufacturer Toyota has a plan to bring the next generation Fortuner in the Indian market.
The next generation Fortuner will be based on Toyota’s new Tnga platform.
Features
The new Fortuner will come with hybrid powertrain, advanced driver assistance system, panoramic moonroof, 10.25in HD large floating touchscreen, fully digital instrument cluster for expert powertrain, updated exterior interior and a bunch of new features.
Toyota already launched the new generation Fortuner and Hilux in the South African markets, with mild hybrid system and minor changes.
Engine
In terms of power, the new generation Fortuner will get 2.8l turbocharged diesel engine along with 48 volt mild hybrid system, which can produce 204 horsepower and 420 NM of peak torque at the manual transmission, and 500 NM of peak torque with automatic transmission.
Gearbox
The engine will be paired to an optional six speed manual and a six speed torque converter automatic gearbox, along with 4X4 configurations.
Price Of New Fortuner
According to Toyota, the new generation Fortuner will receive a strong hybrid powertrain afterwards.
Toyota has a plan to bring this new model in the Asian markets, including India, in the end of 2024 at the expected price range between 32 to 50 lakhs, ex-showroom.
