Toyota kiloscar motor, the strategic partner of Suzuki is bringing an all new sub four-meter coupe-style crossover SUV in the Indian market.
Toyota is planning to reenter the subformat category with this SUV after the discontinuation of the urban cruiser.

Urban cruiser Taisor
Toyota may launch this SUV in the Indian market in the name of urban cruiser taisor. Toyota has trademarked the name taisor towards the end of 2022, the upcoming Taisor SUV will borrow the design inspirations from Maruti Suzuki fonts.

Price Range
Toyota has a plan to bring this SUV in the Indian market in the first quarter of 2024 at the expected price range between 7 to 15 lakhs Ex-showroom after launch,
the SOB will be the rival of Maruti Suzuki Brezza and fronx Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonnet, Mahindra XUV 300, Renault Kiger and Nissan Magnite.
Engine Power
In terms of power, the crossover will get the same petrol engine options as the Proms BSS complaint 998 cc one liter turbocharged three-cylinder booster jet petrol engine along with SHVS mild hybrid system which can generate 100 HP and 148 of peak torque and the naturally aspirated 1.2 liter k series dual jet petrol engine with shvs which can produce 90 HP and 113 of peak torque.
Gearbox
The engines will be mated to an optional five-speed manual, five-speed AMT, and a six-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.
Mileage
The SUV can deliver mileage between 20 to 23 kmpl. Toyota is expected to offer CNG variants of the taisor based on the 1.2-liter petrol engine similar to the fronxs.

Talking about the extreme styling, the new SUV will get a sportier rug look and will receive the aerodynamic design inspirations from its multi Suzuki counterpart.
