New Tata Punch EV Full Details
The famous Indian car manufacturer Tata Motors is all set to unveil the electric power punch for the indian market.
Tata Punch EV is based on a pure EV architecture which has been designed to accommodate an electric powertrain. This architecture will offer performance technology modularity and space efficiency.
Booking Amount
Tata Motors has officially commenced the bookings of this Punch EV for a token amount of rs 21,000 only.
The Tata Punch EV will be available In two variants, standard and long range.
The standard Punch EV is available in Five trims, smart, smart Plus, Adventure, empowered and empowered plus, while the long range versions gets three teams. Adventure, empowered and empowered plus.
The electric versions of Punch is available in nine color options including four monotones and five dual tones.
Pricing
Tata is going to unveil the electric versions of Punch on 6 January 2024 and the official launch will take place later this month. The Punch EV is expected to be priced between 10 to 14 lakhs ex-showroom.
After launch It will be the rival of Citrain EC 3 and act as an alternative to the MG Comet EV and Tata Tiago EV.
Power
Talking about the power the electric versions of Punch will use the Gyptron EV Powertrain technology that powers the Tigo EV.
The micro SUV will likely use two Lithium-ion battery packs, a 25 kilowatt and a 35 kilowatt.
The Punch EV will be available in two variants, standard and long-range. As per Tata EV nomenclature.
Range
The modular platform of Punch EV is set to deliver a range of around 300 kilometers to 600 kilometers, depending on The model and battery.
The charging options will include a 3.3 kilowatt and a 7.2 kilowatt charger. It will also support DC fast charger.
Exterior Design
In terms of design, the new electric versions of Punch will get a number of changes than the outgoing IC versions of Punch. It receives Nexon inspired frontpecia, closed up Grille, slick air intakes and front mounted charging socket.

In terms of safety, the SUV will be a five-star rating SUV. As its IC counterpart, the SUV will continue the standard safety features including ABS with EBD,
steel and muscular structure all four-wheel disk brakes, automatic headlamps, electric stability control,
six airbags, rain sensing wipers, safe exist assist, child safety lock, three point seatbelts for passengers,
