Worst Cars And SUV
What are the most disappointing new cars and SUVs that owners completely regret buying? That’s what we’re going to find out.
I’m gonna share the most disappointing, least satisfying vehicles to own that owners wish they never bought. According to the latest owner satisfaction survey data from Consumer Reports.
Nissan Altima
According to the survey, just under half or 48% of Altima owners would consider buying another one Again, the biggest complaints with the Altima Center around quality and value. Worst Cars And SUV
Most owners just feel that they’re not getting their money’s worth. And the Altima also has a history of reliability concerns, especially when it comes to the CVT.
If you want a similar type of vehicle that has a much higher owner satisfaction rating.
The two best ones according to the study were the Toyota Camry Hybrid and the Honda Accord hybrid, either of which would be a much safer choice.
Kia Forte and the Volkswagen Jetta
The next two vehicles, which were a tie, were the Kia Forte and the Volkswagen Jetta.
For both vehicles, only 47% of owners would consider buying another one Again, the biggest complaints with these two are again, quality issues, noise issues, and also not offering enough value for the money.
If you want a better compact car that has a much higher owner satisfaction rating.
The highest-rated vehicles this year were the Honda Civic, the Toyota Corolla, and the Mazda 3. Worst Cars And SUV
Mercedes GLA and the C class
And next up we have a pair of Mercedes models, and the two that have the lowest owner satisfaction are the Mercedes GLA and the C class.
Only 46% of C class buyers would consider buying another one again, and only 45% of GLA buyers would buy another one Again, owners were disappointed with the build quality, the reliability, and the value claiming that they were just not getting their money’s worth.
According to the survey, the luxury vehicles similar to these that have the highest owner satisfaction are the Lexus ES 300 hybrid and the BMW 3 series, both of which would be a better choice. Worst Cars And SUV
Kia Seltos and the Nissan Kicks
The next vehicles with the lowest owner satisfaction are a pair of compact crossover SUVs, and these ones are the Kia Seltos and the Nissan Kicks.
Only 45% of Seltos buyers would buy another one again, and only 44% of kicks buyers would do the same. Worst Cars And SUV
The biggest complaints with these vehicles are the performance, the road noise, and the general refinement, which I guess makes sense considering that these are both considered fairly budget friendly vehicles.
2 New Cars To Be Launched In March-April 2024
That’s especially true in the case of the kicks, which is around 25 grand and not a bad value.
You just need to have realistic expectations about what you’re getting when you’re spending that kind of money.
In any case, the compact crossovers that had the best owner satisfaction where the Subaru Crosstrek and the Toyota Corolla cross hybrid,
Jeep Compass
Another vehicle that did not do very well was the next one on the list, which is the Jeep Compass. Only 42% of compass fires would consider buying another one.
Again, the biggest complaints with the compass were quality issues, general refinement and performance, and not offering good value for the money.
Kia Sorento
Next up on the list we have a another SUV, and that vehicle is the Kia Sorento, like the Compass, only 42% of Sorento buyers would consider buying another one Again, the biggest complaints with the Sorento were quality and reliability issues, general refinement and not offering good value for the money.
Comparable three row SUVs that had the best owner satisfaction were the Honda Pilot and the Toyota Highlander. Two vehicles that I often recommend, and neither one would be a much better choice. Worst Cars And SUV
Nissan Sentra
The next vehicle on the list is another compact car, and that is the Nissan Sentra. According to the survey, only 39% of Sentra owners would consider buying another one again, which is a pretty low number.
The biggest complaints with this one had to do with noise refinement and performance. Worst Cars And SUV
Now, I wouldn’t exactly consider the Sentra to be a terrible car. It does offer decent value for the money, but there are certainly much better choices that you could buy instead.
3 least satisfying cars to own
Volkswagen Taos
And the one that came in the number three spot is the Volkswagen Taos. Only 38% of Taos buyers would consider buying another one again, which is pretty dismal.
Owners complained about the refinement, quality and performance issues and just offering poor value for the money. Worst Cars And SUV
Like a few others on this list. So the fact that a lot of owners are completely disappointed with it comes as no surprise to me.
Mercedes GLB
And the next vehicle that we have coming in, the number two spot is the Mercedes GLB. Only 36% of GLB owners would consider buying another one again, which is a pretty low number.
The GLB is actually a repeat from the previous year. So this vehicle does have a pattern of having very low owner satisfaction.
Nissan Qashqai Suv 2024- Top Speed
The major complaints are the general refinement, the quality, and the value. Most owners complaining that they just were not getting their money’s worth.
Comparable compact luxury SUVs that had the best owner satisfaction ratings were the Lexus and X hybrid and the BMWX 3, both of which would seem to be a much better choice.
Infiniti QX50.
Only 25% of QX50 buyers would consider buying another one again, which is a pretty ridiculously low number. Worst Cars And SUV
Just about everything one could complaint about was a complaint with this. Vehicle owners were just disappointed with the performance, the refinement, the ride quality, the technology and the value, both the Mercedes GLB and the Infiniti QX 50
Actually made my list of the worst luxury SUVs that you could buy. So I’m really not too surprised to see that both vehicles have some of the lowest owner satisfaction ratings that you can possibly get.
