New Swift Hybrid Launch Soon
The Japanese automaker, Suzuki, has already unveiled the new generation Swift at the 2023 Japan Mobility Show.
The new Swift gets a familiar design overall, but receives a number of styling updates.
Suzuki is all set to introduce the new generation Swift Hatchback, and Desired Sedan in the Indian market.
The Maruti Suzuki Swift 2024 is a B1 segment Hatchback car with a seating capacity of five persons.
The Swift has been one of the brand’s best-selling models since its inclusion in the Indian market.
New Swift Pricing
The new Swift is based on the Suzuki modified high-tech platform. The new model is expected to make its way to India in the middle of 2024 at the expected price range between 6.50 to 10 lakh Ex-showroom.
The new Swift will be sold in the Indian market through Suzuki’s arena outlets. After launch, it will be the main rival of Tata Tiago, Hyundai Granite and Neo Space Lift, Citroën C3, Tata Ultras, Toyota Glanza, and Hyundai Aster.
New Swift Colors Option
Globally, the new Swift offers 13 exterior color options, including nine monotone and four dual-tone sets, and three variants: base variant XG, mid variant MX, and top variant MZ.
In terms of engine, the new Swift now gets an all-new 1,198 cc 1.2-liter three-cylinder, naturally aspirated, Z-Series petrol engine, which is codenamed as Z12E.
New Swift Engine
The new engine can produce 82 PS of power and 108 Nm of peak torque. It will be a highly fuel-efficient and will be lighter than the existing K-Series engines. The new engine will help to reduce carbon emissions.
➜ The new engine will get Toyota’s strong hybrid technology and with an ideal start-stop function, which will deliver the mileage of around 35 to 40 KMPL and will provide extra power and torque.
➜ Suzuki has a plan to replace the K-Series engines with the new J-Series unit in future. But we will have to wait and watch whether the Indian specification swift will come with the existing KS series mill-hybrid engine or the new J-Series unit.
➜ In terms of transmission, the Indian specification model is expected to get a five-speed manual or a five-speed automatic transmission option, whereas the Japanese model offers CBT transmission.
New Swift Wheel & Size
In terms of dimensions, the new shift is 3,860 millimeters in length, 1,695 millimeters in width, and 1,500 millimeters in height
A wheelbase of 2,450 millimeters, which means the new Swift is 15 millimeters longer, 30 millimeters taller, and 40 millimeters narrower than the outgoing model.
In terms of design, the new Swift gets a number of cosmetic changes than the current model.
New Swift Front Side
The front gets new gloss black honeycomb pattern grill, a surrounding bejel with a gap for radiator sensors on the top, Suzuki badging beneath the clam cell bonnet, slimmer headlights with L-shaped LED DRLs, white and slick air dams,
➜ Black accented air spliters with fog lights housing, and fully reworked front bumper with silver garnish in the lower portions of the bumper.
➜ The side profile does not receive major updates, except black toward B and C-pillar, newly designed five-spoke 15-inch diamond cut alloy wheels and body-side plastic cladding.
Mahindra XUV 300 Facelift 2024
➜ The rear door handles are now be seen on the door panels instead of the C pillar. The rear profile receives new wrap-around, updated C-shaped LED tail lamps, a strong bend line that runs across the length of the car to merge the taillights,
➜ slightly tweaked tailgate, rear washer, dipover rear spoiler, with spoiler-mounted emergency braking light, newly updated rear bumper with bumper-mounted horizontally placed reflectors, and gloss black finish at the lower sections of the rear bumper.
New Swift Interior View
Talking about the interior styling, the interior of the new Swift now comes with a completely new design in compared to the outgoing model.
➜ It will get a design inspirations from the Maruti Baleno and Fronx The interior of the new swift will get a completely revamped dual-tone dashboard setup with a rectangular AC vents, three-spoke steering wheel with steering mounted controls along with silver highlights,
➜ The new semi-digital cluster with multi-formation TFD display, a freestanding new nine-inch large sporting task in importionment system with Apple CarPlay,
Bluetooth
Android Auto along with Bluetooth navigation system, smartphone connectivity and USB port, premium sound system with four speakers and two tweeters, remote trunk opener, front and rear cup holders,
New Swift Key
automatic climate control with rear resivents, automatic wiper, vanity mirror, push-button start and stop, remote keyless entry, wheel cushioning seats for a comfortable ride with adjustable driver’s seat, rear seats with 60-40 splitting options, and bigger boot space.
The new Swift now equipped with a number of database safety and assistive features.
New Swift Camera
The new hybrid Swift shown at the Japan Mobility Show was equipped with an advanced driver assistance system, electronic parking brake, and front camera.
But we will have to wait and watch whether the Indian specification model will get these features or not.
